Krispy Kreme

Our kiddos had their first donuts EVER at Krispy Kreme this morning. It was love at first bite.

The Latest

Since my sweet friend Brandi introduced me to the blogger app on my iPhone, it's so much easier to update my blog and post pics of my little monkeys. iPhone's are awesome...what did we do before them?!

Now that I'm back into blogging, I wanted to post what my little love bugs have been up to.

It's crazy how much and how quickly they've grown! They are getting so big...I wish time would stand still!

Luke has been taking swim lessons all summer and can't get enough of the water. There was a lot of crying the first week and I wondered if I was doing the right thing...I almost pulled him out...so glad I didn't though because now he loves the water! 

Luke also loves to show off his muscles!

They both love eating Popsicles and going to Orange Leaf for yogurt.

Livie's really into wearing sunglasses these days.

We read a lot of books and don't watch much tv, but when we do, Luke likes to watch Bob the Builder and Livie likes Barney.

I still haven't figured out how to organize the pics so they are all jumbled up, but you get the idea.

Luke's First Dentist Appointment

Luke had his first dentist appointment today and he did AWESOME! No cavities, which was kinda surprising considering the amounts of sugar and junk this kid eats. I'm so proud of him though, he was such a big boy!

Happy Birthday to Who?

We had a very small celebration last weekend for Brent's 35th birthday and his mom, Debra's, birthday (her birthday is the day before Brent's).
Luke was so insistent that it was his birthday so we just went along with it and let him think it WAS his birthday.
Here's a video of us singing happy birthday to Brent and Deb Luke. I recorded it on my phone and for some some reason it didn't come out very clear...I'm woking on getting that figured out though...anyway, Luke was so excited.

A few things to notice  -

• we didn't have any regular candles so we had to use an obnoxiously large taper candle
• Luke sneaking a bite of icing mid-song
• no one knows who to sing happy birthday to
• Luke's momentary look of panic near the end of the video when Brent takes the cake away to cut it.
